An intern from Harvard College joined Lowlander Center for 2 and a half months this summer. Zoe Anastacia Jen-Guang Nagasawa, a rising senior studying Environmental Science and Engineering & Environmental Science and Public Policy, gave tremendous support to several grant projects including, NOAA, BTNEP and EPA. Living in the Pointe au Chien region, Zoe gave her heart and intelligence to assisting several Tribes with on-going work on rebuilding from hurricane Ida, repairing wetlands and thinking through policy measures. Her passion for justice and for the healing from the wounds of injustice are truly valued. We wish her well in her final year of school.
