Watch the Video Created During the National Geographic Photo Camp

In November National Geographic partnered with the Lowlander Center to host a photo camp. During the photo camp, students worked to create a video depicting stories from their community. Here is the final product:

Previously, National Geographic has partnered with Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International, Norwegian Red Cross, Mercy Corps, and USAAID. To date, National Geographic has sponsored 85 Photo Camps with thousands of students in more than 20 countries. The photo camps are aimed at students that wish to tell their stories through photography. National Geographic provides the students with an immersive learning experience, inspiring the next generation of photojournalists. The photographs from the camp are used for presentations in their own communities and public exhibitions that reach viewers from across the world. National Geographic showcases the students’ perspectives on issues that are important to all of us.
